FUN CONCERT

SPG will be holding a fun concert in this coming October and there will be a poster competition.

The SPG poster competition encourages artists of SPG to design and submit a poster that responds to the fun concert that will be held in October 2008. It can be done individually, in pairs or even in groups!

The draft poster can be submitted to any of the committee/mentors before 29 June 2008.

The competition is now launched and winning entry will receive a $20 Swensens Gift Voucher in August 2008.

Holiday buck up practices~

GUITARISTS!
The Committee is planing to have a grand concert at this coming October. In order to put all of you on stage, we have arranged guitar practices for all of you during this coming holiday!
As some of us will be having their MST when school reopen, there will be no practices at the last week of the holiday.
Here is the schedule~~
(please be punctual, as attendance contributes 25 cca points per sem)

Every Monday: 330 pm to 530 pm
Every Wednesday: 330 pm to 530 pm
For all guitarists~

Every Friday: 330 pm to 530 pm
For intermediates

random events are expected after the practices~ we hope to see all of you at the practice!

Things you should know.

Our club was officially established in May 1998.

VISION
We aspire to be a group performing club where teamwork is valued and everyone has a role to play.

MISSION
Our mission is to contribute to the vibrancy of the world with the melodious guitar music.

Tradition in SPG #1: Dinner together after practice!
In SPG, not only we play together, we eat together! Hence, after practice, we hope you could join us to have a simple dinner in or outside campus!

Tradition in SPG #2: Mentoring groups rotate to organise outing for everyone!
Every month from July onwards, each mentoring group (mentors+members) will rotate to organise an event for everyone. You can organise any type of event, can be just a simple dinner or overseas trip. Please propose it to us. Four CCA points will be awarded to the organising group.

As and when I'll introduce more traditions in SPG.
