SPG First Practices

Hello!

Please take note the following:

School of Classical (Intermediate) will start on Wednesday, 30 June 2010 at 5.30pm at LT14A. The Intermediate practices for the following weeks may be shifted to 3.30pm if everybody has no problem with it.
School of Classical (Beginner) will start on Friday, 2 July 2010 at 5.30pm at LT14A or OUR CLUBHOUSE at T1503
Starting date for School of Acoustic will be announced soon.

Other things to take note:

Please bring your guitar on your first practice. You have to use classical guitar for the practices under School of Classical.
For those who haven't had their own classical guitar, look for Zheng Qiang (Zack) on the first practices, so that you can include your name in the 2nd batch of guitar ordering.
If you are interested to join School of Acoustic, or maybe if you have only acoustic guitar at home, you can register for the audition during the first practices. The audition will be held on the 5th of July.

Performance at RoboCup 2010 @ Suntec Convention Centre Ballroom

Hi peeps!

Chiew Yeh, Sky, Yamato, Lian Rui, Alvin, Narita, Shawn, Cai yu, Alif, Omeigar and Azmil are going to perform in RoboCup 2010 Banquet tomorrow (Thursday) at around 6.30pm. Let us wish them a very confident and sweet performance with their 6 items. They will be performing in the Ballroom at level 2. Come down and support them if you happen to be a helper for RoboCup. =)

SP Japanese Daiko Drum Team Concert 2010 - "Element"

RoboCup and stuffs - Updated (20 June 2010)

Hello all! The camp was fun and I hope you all have a good rest afterward. For those who are performing in the RoboCup at Suntec City, these are the updated practice dates for you:

17 June**
18 June
19 June (optional)
21 June**
22 June
23 June

**Compulsory holiday practice for everyone including the RoboCup performers

The performers are Chiew Yeh, Sky, Zheng Qiang, Yamato, Lian Rui, Azmil, Omeigar, Zul, Narita, Shawn, Cai yu and Alif. SPG, Ning and I are counting on you, guys =)

Performance Items:
1. The Entertainer
2. Final Fantasy Medley
3. Hey Soul Sister
4. River Flows In You
5. Quién Será aka Sway
6. Rhythm of the Rain

The practices will be held in our clubhouse from 10am until your fingers are tired. And no, I'm not joking regarding the practice dates.

To my dear committee members, I would like to ask your assistance to settle the followings:

Chiew Yeh and Hui Fang: Please work together to settle CCA point form for our FO Camp

Quartermasters: Our clubhouse (and the cupboards) need to be tidied up. Please coordinate the clean up and make our club house neat by Friday

All Captain Cow: Please return the forms at which you referred to when you called our new members to Narita. We need to sort out the names to place them whether in SPG SoC Beginner or Intermediate.

Treasurers + Gracia: Please get ready the claim forms.

I hope all of us can make it for the compulsory practice tomorrow (17 June) to help each other to tidy up our clubhouse, clean the chairs, and assist our quartermasters to arrange the cupboard after the practice. See you tomorrow and have a nice day! =D

10am-12pm for every practice!

Those dates in red are compulsory practices for everyone (EXCLUDING new members, freshmen). The rest of the dates are for those people who are involved in RoboCup performance. The rest who are not involved are welcome to join our practices on those days though..

For GLs, we are meeting at 12pm @ Clementi on Sunday before our prep camp. Those who wants to come earlier can join us.

If not, you can meet us in the clubhouse at 6pm. SMs who are not able to come for the prep camp please do inform me.

SP Daiko Drum Concert

SP Japanese Daiko Drum Team is having their concert!

Date: 19 June 2010, Saturday
Time: 6.30pm-8pm
Venue: SP Auditorium
Ticket price: $8, free seating

I recommend SPG members to go for this concert. We can get a discount for the concert too. =)

FO CAMP

For current members (seniors) who are involved in the FO camp:

There will be a Games Trial this coming Friday (11 June) after your MST at 1.30pm.
Please DO come for the games trial as we will be trying out our games for the camp. If you cannot make it or will be late, please do tell me or Weida if you have not done so.

Just to remind you, you have to pay $12 for the camp fee too. Please pay to Weida by Monday, 7 June, 2-6pm! Please help remind the rest. Thanks.

For freshmen who are selected:
