Things to take note

1. From next lesson onwards, beginners who do not attend Dylan's lesson, must sms him to tell him your reason for being absent.

2. For those who have not paid for the club jacket, please pay Felicia $35.50 by next Fri (6/2)

Penalty will be imposed for late payment

3. Alumni Concert will be held next Monday (2/2). Organising committee and helpers, please report punctually for your respective duties.

4. There will be a full dress rehearsal for the Charity Concert next Wed (4/2). Please dress formally (Black Shirt, black pants, black covered shoes) and report punctually at the clubhouse at 3pm.

Important Things

Hi Everyone. Please take note of the following matters:

1. Beginners who did not attend Dylan's lesson today (29/1) must write a letter stating the reason for not attending lesson. Please pass the letter to Dylan by next Friday (6/2) if you do not want a DEDUCTION of 10 CCA points.

2. There will be a charity concert rehearsal tomorrow (30/1) from 3pm to 5pm. Please be punctual as there are many preparations to be done.

3. There will be beginners' practice tomorrow (30/1) and next Friday (6/2) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Please do attend.

4. Please pay Felicia $35.50 by tomorrow for the club jacket.

Charity Concert Countdown & Alumni's concert countdown

Hey Guitarists,

Please take note that the charity concert is really NEAR.....

Here's the final count down to first large concert you are going to perform as a guitarist.

23 Jan, Friday, Last Practice

30 Jan, Friday, Dry-run rehearsal. (compulsory)

4 Feb, Wednesday, Full Dress rehearsal. (compulsory)

7 Feb, Saturday, Actual day. (of course compulsory lah.... lol)

Please be serious in the coming practice, IT'S THE LAST PRACTICE BEFORE WE GO ON STAGE!

PLEASE DO PRACTICE AT HOME, THUS OUR PRACTICE COULD BE MORE EFFECTIVE.

SP GUITARISTS' ALUMNI'S CONCERT

Members of the sub-committee please take note.
The concert we are organising for our alumni is on 2nd Feb.
We are suppose to be there from 12pm onwards for moving of equipments
and preparing the stage, also for everyone to get familiar with their respective
instruments. LOA WILL BE PROVIDED, PLEASE BE FREE.

IT's a good chance for us to get trained to plan our own concert!

Important things

Guitarists,

As mentioned by PR coordinators,
Here are some important things that we should take note of...
(just to conclude, making it not so confusing :D )

Club Jacket measurement will be done on 13th Jan 09, 530 pm at club hse.
Our Club is performing on 14th Jan 09, Wednesday, from 1200pm to 1245pm @ moberly, please come and support our fellow comrades.
Intermediate practice will be on every Wednesdays 530pm to 730pm. Intermediate players are requested to stay on Fridays for practices, too. As we have many tasks to complete.
There's a meeting for ex and sub committee on coming Friday, 16th Jan 09 730pm after the practice.
There's a rehearsal on 19th Jan 09 at dance @moberly at 530 pm as requested by the organiser of the Charity Concert

If you can't make it for the measurement on Tuesday due to any reasons, your name will be passed to Jay and Ivan, then Ivan will bring you to the factory located at Lower Delta road for another session of measurement on Saturday. Exact time will be announced on Friday's practice session. The measurement need to be done asap as the making of jacket do take up a lot of time.

followed by Raihyan, Alfiyan, Izdiyad and Rendra's band, then Ridhwan's band.

Performers please meet at club hse at 1130 on Wednesday for a briefing.

The meeting on Friday is mainly about SPG reformation and also SPG Grand Concert.
exco and sub committee members please be prepared for tasks.

We left only 2 more practices to go for the Charity Concert which will be on 7th Feb 09.
The committee request all of the guitarists' co-operation to come for practice, and also practice the songs at home in order to be able to perform.

Please be reminded that we left little time to prepare for our concert, please be enouraged to come for every practice, and also learn the score at home, thus the 2 hours practice could be much more effective, we seriously need everyone's co-operation to make our concert possible! Thank you.

You might not have received your cca points yet, coz SAA is still pending on it, but don't worry, you will get them in these few days.

Alumni Concert
2nd February 2009 at Auditorium (4 more weeks to go)
Setting up of stage and rehearsal starts at 2pm
Actual performance: 5.30pm to 7pm
Admission is free for all students

4 ushers: Kim Lee, Jian Hong, Miru and Ivan

4 backstage crew: Charles, Xue Yi, Jay (person in charge) and Wei Quan (to help out after the performance)

3 lighting crew: Jia Jun, Moses and Yi Fan

2 sound crew: Rendra and Ainninah

Responsibilities:

Ushers: Direct and settle the audiences

Backstage crew: Help to move amplifiers, speakers, instruments

Lighting crew: To control 2 spotlights and overall lighting on the stage

Sound crew: To deal with the sound system
